Please feel free to add to this list as required
Free Webspace
?
Commercial (paid) webspace
- DreamHost - good value for multiple domains
- E-Rice - Low cost ($10, $20 or $30 a year) web hosting used by many weather related sites. A great way to start out. All you need is your own Domain and away you go. Offers PHP5, MySQL and more. Does not provide crontab abilities however.
- Godaddy
- Hostgator - Both individual sites and reseller sites. Works very well with weather related sites. Especially useful if you need multiple domains contained within a single management system (reseller account).
- ozemail.com.au / iinet.net.au
- 1&1 - more expensive than other host but their reliability has been excellent. www.1and1.com or www.1and1.co.uk
- iWeb
- NearlyFreeSpeech - Only pay for the storage and bandwidth you actually use. No cron, but full PHP and MySQL (you select which versions)
Non-Compatible with Cumulus
- Google Sites
- Jabry
- 000webhost.com (don't allow realtime.txt in free hosting)
